44i Financial Controller
Overview:
The Financial Controller plays a critical role in overseeing all accounting and financial operations across the company. This position is responsible for managing financial reporting, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, tax compliance, and the annual budgeting process. The Financial Controller will also collaborate closely with Executive Management to drive financial strategy, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support the company’s growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Analyze financial data to provide insights for decision-making and improve overall financial performance.
- Lead the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements.
- Oversee and execute all accounting functions, including financial forecasting, general ledger, managing large financial data sets, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, reporting, etc.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Reports must be provided timely with analysis.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other regulatory requirements.
- Provide insights into financial trends and key performance indicators to assist in decision-making.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the company’s financial performance and business opportunities.
- Track and report on budget-to-actual performance, highlighting areas of concern or opportunity.
- Manage tax accounting and compliance to optimize tax liabilities while adhering to regulations.
- Lead risk management initiatives to identify potential financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure timely reporting of month-end and year-end closing processes and comprehensive financial reports.
- Collaborate with Executive Management on financial planning, analysis, and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Develop and enforce internal controls to protect company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Support the budgeting process, including preparation, monitoring, and reporting of variances.
- Drive process improvements to streamline accounting procedures and increase efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance.
- Proficient in financial software; advanced Excel skills are required.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Accountant
Accounting individual needed for a fast-paced digital marketing company located in Sioux Falls.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly payroll as well as quarterly & annual tax reports and payments
- Reconcile Payroll Benefit Liabilities
- Track Sales Commissions
- Human Resources tasks of onboarding paperwork for new hires, exit interviews and other misc tasks
- Track Personnel Time including PTO
- Assist with Credit Card Management and Reconciliations
- Collect appropriate data for end of year tax returns
- Data entry for monthly invoicing
- Assist with Insurance/WC Audits
- Be a cohesive member of the Accounting Department
- Other duties as assigned
Skills:
- Prior accounting experience required
- Excellent knowledge of accounting procedures
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks accounting software
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Experience with general ledger functions
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
- BS in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree preferred

Project Coordinator
We are seeking a Project Coordinator who is energetic, organized, and passionate about ensuring client satisfaction and quality creative product through effective internal team direction and production schedule management, while also providing account services by interacting with clients.
This position provides a necessary conduit between the Client Services team and the production teams within the agency and manages a wide variety of client projects ensuring deadlines are met and providing initial proofing of creative work.
Project Coordinator will:
- Manage the day-to-day account relationships for clients as assigned by Management
- Proactively manage and drive production schedules and deadlines
- Are responsible for trafficking projects between account service, production and creative personnel
- Provide logistical support in client meetings
- Proofread copy, artwork, and print proofs, ensuring all work completes the agency approval process before being reviewed by Management, clients, and vendors
- Are aware of client activities to provide support and back-up for account services

44i seeks an experienced Video Editor/Videographer who is energetic, creative, and passionate about story telling and marketing through video. Ideal candidate is well versed in shooting video in a variety of environments, lighting, working with Premiere Pro and After Effects, and possesses a good understanding of short and long form commercial production processes. Experience in videography and production is a plus.
