Major-Market Midwest Casino
The Challenge
As a new, small casino in a major market with the goal of future expansion, while facing big challenges in gaining market share from other firmly-established, large casino resorts in their market, our client needed awareness, razor-sharp strategic messaging, and great creative delivered to the market at large and to their target audiences to drive traffic and coin-in.
Our Approach
44i was hired on to use our casino industry experience and expertise to allocate the casino’s marketing budget to pierce the market with their key USPs and brand messaging, as well as create a memorable media campaign to hook the attention of casino players and keep their brand in front of them. We proposed an appropriate initial ratio of digital and traditional tactics, shifting more to digital over time, using a full complement of online tactics, from a new website, email marketing, and reputation management, to targeted display, OTT/CTV, addressable geofencing and more.
Results
To date, our client’s market share has continued to increase and monthly traffic and revenue continues to exceed their estimates. Based on current levels of play and the opportunity that lay in front of them, they are moving forward with plans to expand their operation per their original plan… all within three years of opening!
